      Tour Itinerary

      • Today meet our staff and vehicle at Rishikesh (08 AM). We will start our journey from here to Karnprayag. Most of the drive is along the holy rivers like Ganga, Alaknanda & Mandakini. Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi Devprayag is where river is officially called Ganga together. Check in to the hotel. Dinner and stay at hotel.

      • Today we will start early after breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel. We will drive toward Dhak village. Dhak village is 12 kms from Joshimath and starting point of the trek. We will start our trek from here. During the ascent you will pass through Oak, Rhododendrons and Deodar forest. Local shepherds huts are also visible sometime. You will also see Dhauli Ganga river before Tugasi village. After Tugasi village trek is little easy. Our today’s campsite is Guling which provides views of Chaukhamba Mountains. Our tents will be pitched here for you. Dinner and stay at tents.

      • Great views will be waiting for you today in the morning. After breakfast at camp we will start our trek. Today’s trek is gradually ascending. During the trek you will pass through forest for a while. After the forest you will see good amount of streams. Our today’s campsite is Tail. It provides great mountain views of Dronagiri and Hathi Ghoda Peaks. Dinner and stay at tents.
      • Today we will start early to reach Kuari Pass and Kuari Top. Initially it’s steep climb. After reaching the top you will enjoy magnificent mountain views of Himalayan ranges. Nanda Devi and Mt Trishul is visible from here. Later return to Khullara. Dinner and stay at tents.

      • Today trek will be easy. We will start after breakfast from here. On the way you can see Taali lake which is generally frozen in winter season. Nanda Devi views are also very clear today from here. Further trek will lead us to Gorson Bugyal (Alpine meadows) and later Auli. Auli is famous ski destination of Uttarakhand.  Drive to Joshimath from here. Dinner and stay in hotel.

Kedarkantha Trek is placed in the Upper Garhwal Himalayas (The Garhwal are the Himalayan mountain levels in the Indian state of Uttarakhand). The Kedarkantha Trek provides an easily available hike at any time of the year.

            • Cloths: Raincoat/ poncho, Wind & waterproof pant, 2-3 trousers (avoid shorts, fitting denims, capris), Windproof jacket, 3-4 warm T-shirts/shirts; Warm fleece,/Woolen sweater, Woolen socks, Towel, Waterproof thick gloves, Water bottle (Kindly do NOT carry Bisleri bottles), Sunglasses (it should be UV protected), Slippers / sandals; non-slippery, Dry tissues, Hat or sun protection cap, 1 pair of thermal inner wear 

            Personal Medical Kit

            Carry these medicines with you, easily accessible at all times. Do not take any medicine unless you have consulted your trek leader

            • Diamox (1 Strip): It is important to carry Diamox as part of the Live Saving Drugs. It reduces the chances of Acute Mountain Sickness on the trek.
            • Dolo 650 (5 tablets): This is a paracetamol. It helps to tackle fever, mild pain
            • Avomine (4 tablets): Carry this especially if you are prone to motion sickness. Pop one-half hour before the start of your road journey.
            • Combiflam (5 tablets): Take a combiflam if you get a sudden twist of the leg or a muscle strain. It is a pain reliever. It also contains paracetamol.
            • Digene (4 tablets): Take it if you feel the food that you’ve taken is undigested. Alert your trek leader immediately. It could be a sign of AMS.
            • ORS (6 packs): Consume a pack of ORS water at least once a day, usually mid-day when you are in the middle of your trek. It replenishes essential salts lost while trekking. Tip: It also makes cold water easier to drink.
            • Knee Brace (optional): Carry this if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.

            Tour Itinerary

            • Meet our driver at Haridwar Station/ Hotel / Home & Drive to Chopta. Visit Dhari Devi Temple, Dev Prayag and Rudraprayag. Later check in to the hotel at Chopta. Overnight stay at hotel.
            • Morning after breakfast, drive to Tungnath Base. Start your trek to Tungnath Temple. Tungnath Temple is 3 kms Trek. After Tungnath Temple Darsha further 2 kms trek to Chandrashila Trek. Chandrashila Peak provides amazing panoromic views of Himalayas. Later trek down (Total 5 kms trek one way). Drive to Rudraprayag. Later return. Enjoy breathtaking views of Himalayas from mountain top. Later return to your camp / hotel. Overnight stay in Chopta.
            • Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Enjoy Tungnath Chandrashila Trek (5 Kms Trek One side total 10 Kms Trek). Drive to Auli via Joshimath. Visit Narsingh Temple & Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Auli.
            • Morning after breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Auli. Most of Auli can be covered by walk / cable car. Enjoy Cable Car Ride / Chair Car Ride at Auli. Visit Artificial Lake, Skiing Point. Gorson Bugyal Trek (05 Kms one side, 10 Kms total) is also good option for trekking lovers which needs to start in morning. Nearby sightseeing places are Joshimath and Hot Spring at Tapovan if time permits. Overnight stay at the hotel.
            • Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive for Haridwar. Visit Karnprayag, Nand Prayag, Rudraprayag, Dhari Devi Temple & Dev Prayag. Drop at Haridwar Hotel  / Station.
